10 December-Human Rights

On December 10, 1948, the General Assembly of O.N.U. adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration
of human rights. After this historic act, the General Assembly recommended that Member States should not
spare none of the means available to them to solemnly publish
the text of the Declaration and „to make it distributed, displayed, read and commented, mainly in
schools and other educational institutions, irrespective of the political status of the countries or territories. ”
